¿Por qué se me congela la pantalla?

Recientemente, mi instalación 22.04 comenzó a congelarse de una manera particular:

  1. pantalla congelada;
  2. la entrada del teclado aparentemente no hace nada;
  3. PEROLa computadora sigue funcionando.

Yo sé eso3es cierto porque estuve en llamadas de Zoom cuando se congeló; la llamada continúa, puedo escuchar a la gente hablando, pero, como dije, la pantalla está congelada y nada de lo que hago con el teclado (por ejemplo, Ctrl+ Alt+ F1) hace nada.

Actualicé a 23.04 pero el problema continúa.

He inspeccionado el registro del sistema antes de que se congelara, pero no puedo descifrar lo que está sucediendo.

Desafortunadamente, los registros no brindan ningún indicador claro sobre el origen del problema.

Este problema a menudo puede deberse a controladores de gráficos inestables. Jugar con los controladores de gráficos puede bloquear su sistema operativo (¡así que primero haga una copia de seguridad!), pero puede intentar ir a la aplicación "controladores adicionales" en Ubuntu y probar controladores alternativos. Si no funcionan, también puede instalar los controladores directamente del fabricante, si los ofrece.

Este problema también puede deberse a una mala memoria (RAM), pero si eso sucediera, no esperaría que el zoom, etc., siguiera funcionando. Puedes usar una herramienta como memtest86+ para probar esto.
