¿Cómo arreglar este problema? Cada vez que intento instalar/actualizar paquetes falla

Abra su Centro de software yendo al tablero y buscándolo.
En el menú, seleccione "editar"->"fuentes de software".
En la ventana emergente que se abre, habrá una pestaña de 'software de Ubuntu' (la primera) y una 'opción de descarga desde selección'. Elija 'Servidor principal' e ingrese su contraseña.
Luego intente ejecutar sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgradeen la terminal.

Primero verifique si tiene una conexión a Internet que funcione. Y también seleccione Mejor servidor para descargar paquetes de software y actualizaciones.
Luego actualice los repositorios e intente instalar paquetes,
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install <package name>
