Estoy en Ubuntu Gnome 14.04.1. Probé el controlador predeterminado por un tiempo pero el rendimiento no fue satisfactorio, así que decidí instalar el controlador nvidia. El problema es que nvidia detecta dos pantallas y establece la pantalla incorrecta como predeterminada. Lo desactivé y guardé la configuración en xconf, pero cada vez que se usa la pantalla inexistente con baja resolución después del reinicio. y tengo que cambiar manualmente la configuración nuevamente.

Recuerdo haber desactivado esta segunda pantalla usando xorg.conf en mi última instalación mint. Aunque no recuerdo lo que hice. Debería haberlo escrito :(
