Así que comencé la actualización automática de mi distribución Ubuntu esta mañana, de 15.xx a la nueva 16.04, todo salió bien excepto por un error que recibí al final: algo impidió la instalación completa del paquete de configuración del teclado (no No obtengo una captura de pantalla del error).
También mencionó que al no poder completarse la instalación, se revirtió. Reinicié mi computadora y en la pantalla de inicio de sesión inmediatamente vi dos cosas:
Está usando la resolución predeterminada sin opciones para aumentarla (y solo se detecta una de mis dos pantallas), lo que significa que probablemente el controlador de pantalla no esté funcionando correctamente.
Indica que está usando la distribución 16.04, por lo que parece que, después de todo, se actualizó.
Luego entré a una terminal para intentar descubrir por qué mis pantallas no funcionaban correctamente; al instalar el último controlador de nvidia, obtuve un montón de errores debido al paquete de configuración del teclado.
Intenté eliminarlo y reinstalarlo haciendo lo siguiente:
sudo apt-get rempove keyboard-configuration
sudo apt-get install keyboard-configuration
No funcionó, aquí está el error que aparece durante la instalación:

Miré qué es el archivo ckbcomp y parece que proviene del paquete de configuración de la consola, pero si intento instalar este paquete, aparece el mismo error que el anterior con algunos paquetes adicionales que fallan:

¿Hay alguna manera de hacer que esto funcione? Buscando ideas, no estoy muy familiarizado con Linux, por lo que podría deberse a algo que hice mal. El sistema era bastante estable antes de la actualización y nunca tuvo ningún problema.
