Bluetooth no funciona (Atheros AR5BBU22)

Mi computadora portátil no puede encontrar dispositivos Bluetooth a través de Ubuntu. En Windows 7 funciona correctamente. Estoy usando Ubuntu 12.04 y 11.10

Apoyo paraAtheros AR5BBU22está en el Kernel, 3.6.15pero además el firmware propietario debe estar instalado en el sistema para que funcione Bluetooth. Está disponible en el paquete linux-firmware(en ubuntu; respectivamente firmware-atherosen Debian, no gratuito).
