Regenerar /etc/default/grub

Accidentalmente limpié /etc/default/grubcon un mensaje mal escrito :w !sudo tee %. ¿Hay alguna manera de regenerar su contenido? ¿Está el original disponible en algún lugar para copiarlo?

Sorprendentemente, ese archivo /etc/default/grub/no parece ser proporcionado por ningún paquete. Lo usé dpkg -S /etc/default/grub, pero falló. Sin embargo, puede copiar el contenido del archivo predeterminado desde abajo. Este archivo es el mismo para Ubuntu 12.04 y 12.10.

Esto funcionó para mí:

sudo apt-get remove --purge grub-pc
sudo apt-get install grub-pc
