Estoy intentando ejecutar xcrysden en mi PC con Windows usando Cygwin. Si intento iniciar un servidor x con:startx
Se abre una ventana negra durante una fracción de segundo y puedo leer la siguiente información en la línea de comando:

Si escribo xwinen la línea de comando, se abre una ventana negra y permanece abierta hasta que la cierro manualmente.
Realmente sólo quiero ejecutar algunas aplicaciones que no tienen una versión de Windows. Desafortunadamente, las soluciones a problemas aparentemente similares que encontré en este sitio y otras fuentes no me dijeron mucho, ya que tengo experiencia limitada con Linux y ninguna con Cygwin.
