Estoy usando Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS con kernel 3.16.0-38-generic #52~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP viernes 8 de mayo a las 09:43:57 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.
Modelo de computadora: iMac Finales de 2009 (https://support.apple.com/kb/SP696?locale=en_US)
Mi computadora está basada en EFI (no en BIOS). Y no veo "noapic, nolapic" configurado en el archivo de configuración de grub.
Tengo una CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo, pero algunas veces, cuando inicio mi sistema, solo se detecta 1 núcleo de CPU.

Solo tengo un teclado y un mouse antiguos de Microsoft conectados (se usan 2 de 4 puertos USB).
