Cada vez que intento instalar algo aparece este error (este error ocurre cuando intento instalar Firefox)

Cada vez que intento desinstalar algo, aparece este error (este error aparece cuando intento eliminar virtualbox)

Anteriormente intenté instalar VMware pero mi computadora portátil no admite la tecnología requerida¡Y todos los intentos de evitarlo fracasaron!
Intenté eliminar virtualbox con métodos.descrito aquíY este es el resultado:

Al intentarlo sudo apt-upgradeobtuve esto:
sudo apt-get upgrade

Does executing these commands help?
cd /var/lib/apt
sudo mv lists lists.old
sudo mkdir -p lists/partial
sudo apt-get update
