No se puede iniciar el cliente Steam (18.04)

Al iniciar Steam se niega a iniciarse. Lo sorprendente es que funcionó antes, pero cuando descargué Witcher 2 de GOG e instalé las dependencias necesarias, Steam simplemente desapareció. Instalé Steam nuevamente pero no se carga debido a que no se pudo cargar el controlador swrast. Eliminé Witcher 2 y desinstalé todas las dependencias necesarias (la que no se instaló de antemano). También eliminé Steam y todos sus datos (tanto manualmente como usando el comando apt purge) y eliminé todas las bibliotecas y dependencias huérfanas usando Orphaner. Luego instalé Steam mediante apt install steam y este es su resultado:

pero no funcionó para mí.
