Acabo de instalar Gerbera en mi servidor Ubuntu de abajo e intenté iniciarlo usando gerbera. Primero generó un archivo de configuración y luego dio este error:

No estoy seguro de por qué.

¿Estoy usando gerbera incorrectamente? ¿Cómo puedo hacerlo funcionar y ver una carpeta de medios?

Después de la instalación en ubuntu, gerbera se inicia automáticamente como un proceso demoníaco (a través del usuario gerbera). Para iniciarlo manualmente, debe finalizar el proceso del demonio, por ejemplo
ps aux | grep gerbera
sudo kill <pid>
