16.04 no se puede autenticar en wifi

Acabo de instalar Ubuntu 16.04 en un Acer Aspire S y todo funciona muy bien excepto el wifi. Puedo conectarme a puntos de acceso abiertos, pero cuando me autentico en mi enrutador WPA2 en casa, falla.

Esto es con un Atheros QCA6174...

Nunca tuve ningún problema para conectarme con mis otros sistemas Ubuntu. Aquí está el modprob...

¿Parece que se autentica correctamente pero luego se desautentica inmediatamente después? Intenté reemplazar mi /lib/firmware/ath10k como se menciona enhttps://askubuntu.com/a/718430/717711pero eso provocó que mi conexión inalámbrica dejara de funcionar por completo, por lo que revertí esos cambios.

Desafortunadamente ahora estoy un poco perplejo. ¡Se agradece la ayuda!

Lo averigué. La autenticación WPA funciona con otros enrutadores, pero no con el enrutador que tengo en casa. Para ser claro...

  • WPA con otros enrutadores funciona.
  • WPA con el enrutador de mi casa funciona con Windows.
  • WPA con el enrutador de mi casa funciona con otros sistemas Ubuntu.
  • El único problema es con el firmware Atheros de Ubuntu y este enrutador en particular.

Es extraño, pero fácil de solucionar. Es un enrutador viejo de todos modos. :)
