Tengo una caja Ubuntu 11.04. Hay un módem por cable (motorola sbg900) conectado mediante USB. Mi ancho de banda debe ser de 8 mbit de descarga y 0,7 mbit de carga. Hace algún tiempo todo funcionó bien, pero durante las últimas semanas no pude descargar más rápido que 400-450 kB/s. Hoy eché un vistazo más de cerca a esto y parece que el problema es la conexión USB. Intenté conectarme al módem a través de RJ45 y la velocidad máxima de descarga fue de 8 mbit (buena). Volví a USB y nada más que 400-450 kB/s (es decir, 4 mbits).
No tengo idea de qué pasa. No puedo usar RJ45. Tengo que usar una conexión USB al módem por cable.
