El cuadro de diálogo Habilitar características de Windows está deshabilitado en nuestras máquinas virtuales, pero necesito activar la búsqueda de Windows. ¿Es posible hacerlo a través del registro?

Abra el Editor del Registro y navegue hasta la siguiente clave de registro:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Si existe un valor llamado NoFind en el panel derecho, elimínelo.
Un valor 1 significaría que la búsqueda y las siguientes funciones han sido deshabilitadas:
The Search item is removed from the Start menu and from the right click context menu.
The system does not respond when users press F3 or Win+F
The search item does not appear in the drive or folder right click context menu.
The search item may appear on the Standard Buttons toolbar, but Windows will not respond when you press CTRL+F
Si la clave no existe o tiene un valor 0 entonces es el estado predeterminado; es decir, la búsqueda está habilitada.
