No se puede instalar apt-get probablemente debido a iptables

Question

Estoy trabajando con iptables en un VPS de OVH pero no puedo acceder a los paquetes de Ubuntu y no sé en absoluto por qué...

apt-get install package_name

dice:

nombre_paquete no se encuentra

y la función de autocompletar no está disponible.

Pero cuando hago un apt-get update, se alcanzan todos los destinos.
