Corrió:
sudo fdisk -l
y obtuve el siguiente resultado:
The backup GPT table is corrupt, but the primary appears OK, so that will be used.

Usado:
sgdisk -b sdb-backup.gpt /dev/sdb
Y justo después corrió:
sudo gdisk /dev/sdb
Después de esto seleccioné la opción "v" y obtuve esto:
Caution: The CRC for the backup partition table is invalid. This table may
be corrupt. This program will automatically create a new backup partition
table when you save your partitions.
Identified 1 problems!
Lo cual no fue muy concluyente, de cualquier manera ingresé p siguiendo el comando w y finalmente obtuve esto:
OK; writing new GUID partition table (GPT) to /dev/sdb.
Unable to save backup partition table! Perhaps the 'e' option on the experts'
menu will resolve this problem.
Warning! An error was reported when writing the partition table! This error
MIGHT be harmless, or the disk might be damaged! Checking it is advisable.
Como se trata de un disco de macbook antiguo, instalé hfsutils y ejecuté:
sudo fsck.hfs /dev/sdb
Aún no puedo montar el disco, abrí gparted y desde hace bastante tiempo está "buscando particiones /dev/sdb..."
Realmente me gustaría recuperar algunos datos que están presentes en el disco. ¿Hay algún consejo o sugerencia que puedas señalar?
