Tengo un receptor GPS USB BU-353S4. Estoy ejecutando Kubuntu 18.04. Cuando ejecuto gpsd manualmente con gpsd /dev/ttyUSB0, identifica correctamente el dispositivo y obtiene una solución cuando hay uno disponible.
Cuando dejo que gpsdse ejecute automáticamente, esto no funciona. Parece que gpsd no encuentra el dispositivo y no intenta abrirlo.
Si agrego /dev/ttyUSB0 /etc/defaults/gpsdy ejecuto el servicio, entonces el GPS funciona. Sin embargo, si luego desconecto el GPS y lo vuelvo a conectar, el demonio no lo vuelve a localizar.
Mi /etc/defaults/gpsddice:
