estoy tratando de usarcertbot(Vamos a cifrar) para un dominio local.

En /etc/hoststengo esto.

127.0.0.1       myapp.whitebear.com

Pero cuando ejecuto certbot(Let's Encrypt) muestra este error.

¿Cómo puedo configurar HTTPS para un host local?

Para utilizar los certificados Let's Encrypt, su dominio debe existir en el sistema DNS. Las anulaciones locales como /etc/hostsno funcionarán.
