Tengo una nueva placa base de MSI (Z690 Tomhawk wifi ddr4). El wifi integrado no funciona en ubuntu 20.04. Solo tengo ubuntu (sin arranque dual con Windows). El arranque rápido y el arranque seguro están deshabilitados en la configuración del BIOS. Intenté instalar controladores desdesitio web de intelNo funcionó.

Después de actualizar el kernel a 5.16rc7, el bluetooth ahora funciona pero aún no hay wifi.

Resolví este problema implementando Ubuntu22.04. Supongo que Ubuntu20.04 no tiene el soporte más reciente para la placa base mag-z690-tomohawk-wifi. Espero eso ayude.
