Mi iMac 2019 (18,3) no tiene sonido a través de los parlantes/auriculares ni micrófono cuando ejecuta Linux:funciona como se esperaba en OSX.
Estoy publicando aquí porque parece ser un problema de Linux, ya que tengo tres distribuciones diferentes instaladas:Manjaro(núcleo5.6-x86_64(aunque también probé la versión 6.0));sombrero 31(núcleo5.1.20-300); yubuntu 19.10(núcleo5.3.0-45-genérico) - y ninguno de ellos produce sonido ni lo graba desde el micrófono.
El Audio Devicede lspcies Intel Corporation 100 Series/C230 Series Chipset Family HD Audio Controller (rev 31). También parece controlar el puente PCI y el controlador USB. He publicado más informaciónaquí.
He examinado ambos pavucontroly alsamixer, pero no he encontrado nada que sugiera que los sistemas operativos no crean que el dispositivo de audio esté funcionando. Es que no sale ningún sonido. En pavucontrol, Configurationestá configurado en HDMI desactivado y, Built-in Audioaunque Analog Stereo Duplexninguno de ellos cambia el resultado. En alsamixer, el chip se identifica como Cirrus Logic Generic, lo cual es incorrecto y no hay columnas de altavoz/auriculares/nada más que PCH.
Como se sugiere eneste hilo, traté de jugar /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.confagregando options snd_hda_intel model=intel-mac-autoy varias otras iteraciones (por ejemplo, options snd_hda_intel model=imac27veraquípara que). Instalar XFCE y modificar la configuración allí no funcionó para mí.
Hay publicaciones similares sobre cómo no escuchar los iMacs más nuevos (posteriores a 2017), que se pueden encontrar mejor simplemente buscando en Google con snd-hda-intel imac 18,3. Que el problema abarca todas las distribuciones (sombrero;LinuxMint;ubuntu;Manjaro) sugiere un problema con el kernel o el controlador.
¿Alguna idea de (A) cómo solucionarlo o (B) dónde puedo publicar esto para que alguien incorpore este dispositivo de audio al kernel?

Agregar parámetros del kernel: rw quiet acpi=off acpi_osi=!Darwin acpi_backlight=video mds=full,nosmt. Tenga en cuenta que intenté acpi=offagregarlos y también acpi=offser el único acpiparámetro (es decir, not acpi_osiy not acpi_backlight, que solucionan que el iMac no pueda dormir y no tenga controles de brillo, respectivamente). Todavía no hay sonido.
