Dos de mis dispositivos USB no funcionan después de reiniciar mi PC: mi mouse y el adaptador WiFi externo.
Otros dispositivos USB como impresoras, teclados o discos externos funcionan bien. Sin embargo, el mouse y el Wifi siempre deben desconectarse/volverse a conectarse; luego funcionan como se esperaba. Todo también funciona bien cuando quito el cable de alimentación por completo y luego enciendo la máquina. El apagado normal no funciona.
Miré a mi alrededor y encontré diferentes sugerencias, como restablecer el puerto USB, para lo cual usé estousbresetutilidad, que funciona para mi mouse, aunque lleva algo de tiempo (10 segundos), mientras que desenchufar/enchufar el cable del mouse funciona instantáneamente.
Cambiar de puerto USB no hace ninguna diferencia, probé diferentes puertos USB, incluso los antiguos puertos USB 2.0.
Sin embargo, no funciona para mi adaptador WiFi. También descubrí que ni siquiera aparece en la lista al ejecutarlsusb. ¿Existe alguna solución que funcione para ambos dispositivos?

Hay un error de Wi-Fi particular que se introdujo en el kernel 5.5.1.
Está verificado como solucionado en el kernel 5.6.2 pero definitivamente fueNOarreglado en 5.5.14.
Se especuló que la solución llegaría a la versión 5.5.15, pero no he visto confirmación de eso.
