estado indirecto de la unidad systemd

Me pregunto ¿cómo puedo comprobar qué unidad activa otra con estado indirecto?

Ejecuto Arch con Gnome y un servidor Debian. En mi máquina Debian puedo ver el resultado de systemctl list-unit-files --type=target --state=enabledlos programas, como se esperaba:

default.target    enabled
multi-user.target enabled

Pero en el escritorio Arch, sorprendentemente para mí, no es así, aunque ambos: multi-user.targety graphical.target(mi valor predeterminado en Arch) están activos. Cuando verifico el estado de los archivos de estas unidades, ambos son: indirect. Cuando enumero las dependencias, se graphical.targetmuestra gdm.servicey multi-user.target. En el archivo de la unidad gdm no veo Also=en [Install]la sección. Entonces, ¿qué se activa exactamente graphical.target?

¿A qué se debe esta solución "indirecta"?

De man systemd.special:

objetivo.grafico 
       A special target unit for setting up a graphical login screen.
       This pulls in multi-user.target.

       Units that are needed for graphical logins shall add Wants= dependencies for their unit to this unit (or multi-user.target) during installation.
       This is best configured via WantedBy=graphical.target in the unit's [Install] section.

A continuación se muestra la información de esos dos servicios en mi sistema, tome nota de que son "estáticos"...
