¿Xrandr no detecta el puerto HDMI en la placa base?

Estoy ejecutando Mageia 4.14 KDE.

En un sistema Mageia recién instalado no puedo cambiar la resolución de mis monitores. Tengo un monitor conectado al puerto HDMI y otro al puerto VGA. Ambos aparecen y muestran lo mismo. Sin embargo, su resolución es tan baja que todo en ambas pantallas parece muy grande. Entonces, necesito aumentar mi resolución, pero cuando intento hacerlo a través de la configuración del sistema -> Pantalla, todo lo que dice essin salida primariay monitor predeterminado para elegir. La única resolución que debe seleccionar de forma predeterminada es 1024x768.

Ejecuté xrandr en la consola y obtuve lo siguiente.

lspci-vEl comando enumera toda la información de puertos y buses, pero no muestra ni enumera nada relacionado con HDMI.

Cuando intento cambiar o forzar la resolución a través del Centro de control de Mageia yendo a Hardware -> configurar servidor gráfico, todo el sistema Mageia se corrompe y no arranca. Luego, tuve que reinstalar Mageia nuevamente.

Cualquier sugerencia o pista será muy apreciada.

Tienes un sistema basado en UEFI. En lugar de un VESA SVGA tradicional, proporciona una interfaz framebuffer muy simple con capacidades muy limitadas de forma predeterminada.

Dado que su GPU es una Intel HD Graphics 610 integrada en la CPU, primero deberá asegurarse de que estén cargados los controladores del kernel adecuados. El nombre del módulo de controlador que necesitará es i915, ya que fue el "abuelo" de las GPU integradas en CPU de Intel.

Primero, vaya a una utilidad de administración de paquetes y asegúrese de que el x11-driver-video-intelpaquete (con todas sus dependencias) esté instalado.

Para probar la transición del controlador EFI framebuffer a i915, deberá detener completamente el servidor GUI X11 y pasar al modo texto. Suponiendo que su Mageia Linux utilice systemd(como parece indicar una búsqueda rápida en Google), debería lograrlo de forma temporal con systemctl isolate multi-user.target. Este comando debería llevar automáticamente el sistema a un estado correspondiente al nivel de ejecución 3 tradicional de SysVinit, es decir, un estado adecuado para servidores multiusuario que no necesariamente tendrán una pantalla local. El beneficio de este enfoque es que si algo sale mal, sólo tendrás que reiniciar y todo volverá a la normalidad.

Es posible que la pantalla parpadee un poco y que la visualización del modo de texto ahora aparezca en una sola pantalla, con una resolución diferente. En realidad, esto es algo bueno: indica que el controlador de pantalla ahora puede manejar dos pantallas como entidades de hardware diferentes. Puede verificar que el i915módulo está en uso mediante cat /proc/fb: si genera algo como 0 inteldrmfben lugar de 0 EFI VGA, el i915módulo está en uso.

Si el sistema parece fallar en este punto, puede intentar conectarse al sistema con SSH para ver si solo la pantalla no funciona, o simplemente reiniciar el sistema para volver al punto de inicio.

El siguiente paso sería hacer que el sistema cargue el i915módulo automáticamente al arrancar y luego adaptar la configuración de X para usarlo.

En este punto, recomendaría configurar el sistema temporalmente para que arranque sólo en modo texto. Esto evitará el molesto problema de quedarse atrapado en un bucle si la configuración X no funciona:

Ahora, corre systemctl isolate graphical.target. Esto debería activar nuevamente el modo de gráficos.
