Tengo un TrueNAS Mini E (que ejecuta FreeBSD 11.3-RELEASE-p14), que viene preconfigurado con siete unidades: 4 de 3,5" para almacenamiento principal, dos cachés SSD y un disco de arranque. El hardware tiene dos puertos SATA más. , así que conecté una octava unidad pero no puedo hacer que FreeBSD reconozca la unidad. No aparece en dmesg

Probé diferentes cables SATA, reinicié (aunque las unidades principales son intercambiables en caliente), etc. No estoy seguro de si necesito decirle a FreeBSD que busque más unidades conectadas, o qué.

¿Parece que sus puertos sata adicionales podrían no estar habilitados para BIOS o no ser compatibles con el kernel? No sé tu hardware. Para probar cosas, consiga algo que funcione de USB a SATA (como un gabinete o un cable temporal). Utilice esto para verificar que su unidad funcione. Si su disco funciona, entonces esos puertos sata no funcionan para usted.
