¿Cómo forzar a Hyperref a hacer referencia solo a \cite y no a \citeauthor o \citeyear?

Question

Me gustaría hyperrefhacer enlaces sólo cuando uso \citey no con \citeyeary \citeauthor. Aquí hay un ejemplo :

En el resultado, quiero que solo aparezca [1] como enlace.

Los hipervínculos los establece la macro \NAT@hyper@#1definida en natbib.sty. Al usarlo, etoolboxpuede conectarse al comando de citas de bajo nivel \NAT@citexnumpara no hacer \NAT@hyper@nada con las citas no numéricas. He aquí un ejemplo.
