Me gustaría reducirlo. cuando cambio
\begin{tikzpicture} [description/.style={fill=white,inner sep=2pt}]
a
\begin{tikzpicture} [description/.style={fill=white,inner sep=2pt}, transform canvas={scale=.7}]
El título se mueve hacia un lado de la figura y no puedo entender por qué ni cómo evitar que suceda. ¿Alguna sugerencia?

El manual dice: "El seguimiento del tamaño de la imagen está (localmente) desactivado..."
Esto significa que se pierde el cuadro delimitador, que debe especificarse manualmente a través de la \useasboundingbox
ruta (= \path[use as bounding box]
), que también debe estar fuera del alcance al que se ha transform canvas
aplicado.
Podrías considerar la necesidad de transformar toda tu imagen (¡esto también afecta los tamaños de fuente!).
