
Para reducir el espacio entre las ecuaciones mostradas y entre el texto y la ecuación, agregué el siguiente comando en el preámbulo de LaTeX en mi article
documento estándar en LyX:

Significa que el setspace
paquete se ha cargado dos veces, una vez sin opciones y con su opción. A LaTeX no le gusta eso.
Puede hacer lo que se dice: agregar la opción nodisplayskipstretch
en \documentclass
el código.
Alternativamente, puede agregar esta línea al preámbulo:
\PassOptionsToPackage{nodisplayskipstretch}{setspace}
