La carpeta figestá en el mismo directorio que el .texarchivo y la figura Q_a_x.epsestá dentro de la carpeta fig. Este problema ocurre cuando lo compilo usando pdflatexLinux. ¿Hay alguna forma de resolver este problema, pero seguir compilando usando pdflatex, en lugar de latex? ¡Gracias de antemano!

pdflatexAcepta (casi) todos los archivos de imagen excepto .eps. Intente convertirlo a .pdf, .pngo cualquier cosa conveniente.
De lo contrario, puede utilizar epstopdfel paquete, que hace el trabajo automáticamente. En ese caso, debe agregar \epstopdfsetup{outdir=./fig/}, para indicarle dónde colocar el .pdfarchivo producido.
