Hola, estoy intentando crear dos gráficos uno al lado del otro en una página. Y me gustaría que el ancho del segundo gráfico fuera más pequeño que el primero, pero NO el alto. Quiero que el ancho sea menor debido a la menor cantidad de marcas del eje x en el segundo gráfico.
Por alguna razón, el gráfico decide mover las barras completamente hacia la izquierda y hacia la derecha en lugar de distribuirlas linealmente a lo largo del gráfico, lo cual también me gustaría corregir.

Puede configurar heightademás de width. Para la colocación de las barras en el segundo eje, use algo como enlarge x limits=0.7. No sé por qué hace un mal trabajo inicialmente.
Configuraría esto usando un groupplotaunque, eliminaría el minipages y usaría el titlede axisen lugar de \caption*.
Además, intenta evitar cargar paquetes más de una vez. Tienes xcolordos veces. Sin embargo , también se carga pgfplots, por lo que, a menos que esté utilizando las colortblfunciones en algún otro punto del documento, no está de más eliminarlas \usepackage[table]{xcolor}también. También cambié de compat=newesta compat=1.14. Christian Feuersänger recomienda utilizar un valor explícito, para que tu cifra no cambie si actualizas pgfplots.
