Recientemente instalé texlive a través de MacPorts y estoy intentando usar el paquete acro, que ya usé antes, para algunas siglas. Tengo todas las siglas definidas correctamente y se imprimen correctamente, excepto cuando están al final de una oración. A continuación se muestra un ejemplo de trabajo mínimo.

Como puede ver, existe un error no fatal cuando se utiliza un acrónimo antes de un punto (.) al final de una oración. El error es:

A partir del texto de salida, esto resulta en colocar un punto antes del acrónimo. ¿Alguna idea sobre lo que está pasando aquí? Intenté desactivar los toques finales, pero eso también da un error. Por ejemplo, si agrego la siguiente línea de código después de cargar el paquete acro en mi ejemplo de trabajo mínimo:

Obtuve el siguiente error:

Supongo que se trata de un error introducido en una actualización reciente, ya que he usado este paquete antes sin problemas.
