Mi solución en TikZ: usa las coordenadas dadas, ya que tienes más control con ellas. Para usar mis coordenadas, tuve que adaptar el ancho mínimo de los cuadros de las capas media e inferior a 8 cm.

EDITAR

Como se solicita en el comentario, debe haber un espacio horizontal entre las cajas.

Por lo tanto, agregué una opción outer sep=1mma la definición de estilo. La separación exterior funciona en el tamaño izquierdo y derecho de la caja. Por lo tanto, se arruinará la alineación del primer y último cuadro. Lo corregí agregando algo de espacio a la coordenada x del primer y último cuadro en consecuencia. Por favor, eche un vistazo a los comentarios en mi MWE.
