¿No es \cite{}la manera de citar? La línea donde está el error:

Actualización: mirando más profundamente en Internet, resolví el problema comentando \usepackage{cite}en el archivo principal. ¡Ahora funciona!

Diste muy pocas pistas, pero supongo que tu aportación no es la que dijiste, sino que es
