Dibujar curvas de utilidad con tikz-pgf

Question

Tengo esta figura de Sharpe (1964), que quiero recrear con tikz-pgf:

Soy bastante nuevo en el paquete tikz-pgf, así que no sé por dónde empezar. Me gustaría hacer algo similar a la imagen, pero con las curvas de utilidad invertidas (para que queden convexas). Me gustaría incluir un área factible (que se muestra como la parte sombreada de la figura), pero no tiene que tener esa forma exacta y las letras no son necesarias, pero sería bueno tenerlas.

¿Alguien sabe cómo empezar con algo así? ¡Gracias de antemano!
