Frecuencia de actualización del monitor CRT

Tengo Ubuntu14.04 de 64 bits instalado en una computadora con un monitor CRT. En Windows podría configurar la frecuencia de actualización del monitor en 85 Hz. Pero Ubuntu xrandrinforma que el máximo es 60 Hz para 1024x756. ¿Hay alguna manera de solucionar esto?

Instalé el controlador actual de nvidia Ubuntu en el repositorio; nada ha cambiado.

Si está seguro de que su monitor admite la configuración deseada, puede agregar un nuevo modo para su pantalla.

Primero, solicite gtfuna línea de modo con el formato correcto:

> gtf 1024 756 85
# 1024x756 @ 85.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 67.49 kHz; pclk: 92.87 MHz
Modeline "1024x756_85.00"  92.87  1024 1088 1200 1376  756 757 760 794  -HSync +Vsync

Luego cree el nuevo modo con la salida de gtf.

xrandr --newmode "1024x756_85.00"  92.87  1024 1088 1200 1376  756 757 760 794  -HSync +Vsync

Agregue el modo a su salida (que puede ser VGA-0, DVI-1, etc.):

xrandr --addmode VGA-0 1024x756_85.00

Y finalmente seleccione el nuevo modo:

xrandr --output VGA-0 --mode 1024x756_85.00
