Error de clase moderncv: secuencia de control indefinida \gitlabsocialsymbol

Question

No nos dijiste qué versiones modencvutilizas fontawesome.

Por fin, Ubuntu (y Debian) instalaron una versión desactualizada de TeX Live. Mejor es usar el TeX Live original que puedes instalar a continuación esta pregunta.

Si desea probar solo la instalación fontawesomeen Ubuntu, use el comando:

sudo apt-get install texlive-fonts-extra

Asegúrese de que el FNDB esté actualizado y que todos los mapas de fuentes estén cargados (no uso ubuntu, no sé cómo se hace eso con ese sistema operativo).

Después de instalar TeX Live nuevo, perdiste tu archivo actualizado manualmente moderncv. Por lo tanto, es mejor agregar los cambios necesarios en moderncvel preámbulo de tu CV.
