Fuente (MT en inglés antiguo) distinta a la fuente normal en la tesis

Question

Quiero escribir el nombre de la universidad en este estilo de fuente mencionado en la imagen adjunta llamado Old English MT. Cómo puedo hacer esto. Además, soy el siguiente entorno de látex.

El OP ha indicado en los comentarios que Microsoft Office está instalado, se nombra la fuente en inglés antiguo deseada Old English Text MTy se incluye con Microsoft Office.

En PDFTeX

Mi recomendación es utilizar un motor moderno y Unicode cuando sea posible, y fuentes heredadas cuando sea necesario. (Aunque no todos están de acuerdo). En este caso, dices que tienes que hacerlo.

Elige una fuente de letras negras que te gusteel catálogo de fuentes LaTeX, y eso está disponible en CTANen tipo 1formato.

Por ejemplo,góticoDeberia trabajar. Si su instalación de TeX Live no viene con él, instale el gothicpaquete con tlmgr.

Luego, puedes seguir las instrucciones de la página para activarlo:

En LuaLaTeX o XeLaTeX

Puedes cargar esta fuente con\newfontface como en esta respuesta,reemplazando el nombre de la fuente por el que necesita. Por ejemplo:

Es posible que desee comprobar con qué características de fuente admite la fuente otfinfo. Por ejemplo, si admite DFLTligaduras, puedes agregar la opción [Ligatures = Common].

Estoy publicando otra respuesta porque es bastante diferente a las otras respuestas.

Actualmente, otras respuestas a esta pregunta sugieren usar XeLaTeXu LuaLaTeXobtener la fuente en inglés antiguo deseada, o pdfLaTeXusar una fuente sustituta. Esta respuesta sugiere dos métodos que se basan en Microsoft Word para generar un pdf adecuado y luego utilizan paquetes o herramientas estándar para obtener el resultado deseado.

Método 1:Utilice Microsoft Word para crear la página de título única con las fuentes, el diseño y el espaciado deseados. Luego usa la save as Adobe PDFopción de Word. Incluya el pdf usando el pdfpagespaquete usando el comando\includepdf{filename}

Método 2:Si la página necesita incluirse como un epsgráfico, utilice Microsoft Word para crear una página de tamaño personalizado en la misma área que el área del tipo de archivo principal de la tesis: ancho 5,8 pulgadas y alto 8,5 pulgadas. Utilice las fuentes deseadas para crear la página de título. Luego usa la save as Adobe PDFopción de Word.
