Configuración de márgenes con encabezado y pie de página mínimos

Estoy trabajando en un examen y tengo dificultades para configurar los márgenes. Necesito un margen establecido en todo el documento utilizando el máximo espacio posible. No quiero que el encabezado y el pie de página sean demasiado grandes. Le agradecería que los márgenes se pudieran definir de una manera que pueda cambiar más adelante para adaptarlos a mis necesidades. Aquí está mi MWE:
