El comando \onslide en tikz no produce ningún error ni efecto

Question

Soy un poco nuevo en tikz e intenté usar el comando \onslide por primera vez. No entiendo por qué mi código no produce ningún error pero tampoco ningún efecto (produce 3 gráficos idénticos en 3 diapositivas con todo el contenido).

Aquí está mi MWE:

Bueno, creo que cambiarlo a

\only<overlay specification>{\addplot { ... };}

obras. ¡Espero ayudar a otras personas que se toparon con este problema!
