Aquí hay dos intentos fallidos de instalar los archivos descargados (por MiKTeX) para babel-scottish. Parece girar en torno al archivo faltante hilatex-dev.fmt, presumiblemente necesario para XeLaTeX. Internet parece extrañamente silencioso si intentas buscar este archivo, por lo que no puedo resolver el problema de los formatos de actualización. No parece haber el botón de actualización necesario en la consola MikTeX para reconstruir la base de datos de idiomas. ¿Qué debo probar a continuación?

Claramente conoce los archivos necesarios pero parece que no puede acceder a ellos. Presenté un informe de error en GitHub con MikTeX.
