Actualmente estoy intentando instalar MySql en mi servidor Ubuntu 12.04. Pero tengo problemas. Cuando lo ejecuto sudo apt-get install mysql-server, se ejecuta, pídeme un Sí, pero luego. Devuelve la resolución de fallo temporal, No se pudo recuperar. Estoy usando PuTTY para administrar el servidor, pero puedo acceder físicamente. Esto es lo que obtengo cuando ejecuto el comando.

Puedo resolver security.ubuntu.com por lo que es posible que tenga una conectividad de red limitada o que la resolución de su nombre esté configurada incorrectamente. Asegúrese de tener servidores de nombres válidos /etc/resolv.confy que DNS esté habilitado en la línea de hosts de /etc/nsswitch.conf. Luego intente hacer ping a www.yahoo.com.

Parece que hay un problema con el repositorio que estás utilizando.
Usareste sitiopara generar uno nuevo sources.listy pegarlo en el archivo/etc/apt/sources.list
Después de eso, sudo apt-get updateactualice la lista de paquetes e intente instalar mysql-server nuevamente.
