Estoy intentando instalar mcrypt en php y no puedo. Si lo hago php test.php | grep mcrypt
(donde contiene test.php phpinfo()
), no aparece nada, así que quiero instalarlo.
Si lo hago sudo apt-get install php5-mcrypt
me sale esto:
E: Unable to locate package php5-mcrypt
Si lo hago sudo apt-cache search mcrypt
no surge nada.

El único problema: no tengo /etc/php5/conf.d/mcrypt.ini.
¿Algunas ideas? ¿Tengo que compilar mcrypt yo mismo desde la fuente para que funcione en ubuntu? Estoy ejecutando Ubuntu 13.04.
