"Host de destino inalcanzable" y ARP no devuelve direcciones a través de LAN

Actualmente estoy intentando configurar una LAN en dos máquinas con una máscara de red; 255.255.255.0sin embargo, recibo el siguiente mensaje cuando intento comunicarme entre ambas;

[root@alpha ~]# ping 192.168.0.249

Esto también sucede a la inversa en la otra máquina dedicada. No tengo idea de qué hice mal, reinicié y reinicié el servicio de red varias veces y todavía no tengo suerte.

Como puede ver a continuación, ARP no devuelve direcciones LAN, sin embargo, debería mostrar las dos. IPTables está deshabilitado y la IP pública normal permitirá pings.

Si bien no estoy 100% seguro (tendría que comunicarse con SecureServers), la mayoría de las empresas de hosting aíslan los servidores que están en el mismo conmutador con una entrada VLAN o ACL. De esta forma, sus servidores no pueden verse entre sí.

Póngase en contacto con su empresa de hosting para estar seguro. Lo más probable es que tengan que configurar una red "interna" dedicada para usted o que usted necesite utilizar una solución VPN.
