Tengo problemas para habilitar Jumbo Frame en mi Cisco 2960G.
Esto es lo que probé y lo que obtuve:
Switch(config)#system mtu jumbo 9000
vb:: Read-only file system
Changes to the system jumbo MTU will not take effect until the next reload is done
Switch(config)#exit
Switch#sh sys mtu
System MTU size is 1500 bytes
System Jumbo MTU size is 1500 bytes
On next reload, System Jumbo MTU will be 9000 bytes
System Alternate MTU size is 1500 bytes
Routing MTU size is 1500 bytes
Switch#reload
System configuration has been modified. Save? [yes/no]:y
[…recarga del interruptor…]
Switch#sh sys mtu
System MTU size is 1500 bytes
System Jumbo MTU size is 1500 bytes
System Alternate MTU size is 1500 bytes
Routing MTU size is 1500 bytes
Como puede ver, obtuve "vb:: Sistema de archivos de solo lectura" que no suena bien.
Así que intenté algo diferente (actualizando de 12.2(44)SE6 a 12.2(55)SE5 y 12.2(58)SE2. Intenté fsck de la tarjeta flash y luego intenté restablecer con flash_init seguido de formatear flash y cargar el archivo iOS. en xmodem... No estoy seguro si estoy haciendo todo bien, pero todavía recibo esos "vb:: Sistema de archivos de solo lectura"...
Otro ejemplo extraño:
Switch(config)#boot system flash:c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin
vb:: Read-only file system

Después de una extensa investigación, aquí está la solución (lo siento, está en francés:http://osdir.com/ml/org.operators.frnog/2007-11/msg00259.html)
Para informarle, es un error después de un intento de recuperación de contraseña. Debe configurar manualmente el sistema de archivos en modo de recuperación: "set_bs vb: rw"
después de que todo esté bien.
