
Estoy intentando diagnosticar un problema de falla de segmentación que comenzó a ocurrir después de actualizar a Ubuntu 14.04 (32 bits). Estoy ejecutando un cliente TSM 6.2.5-4 que funcionó bien hasta la actualización. Intenté usar strace para llegar al meollo del problema, pero no veo cuál es el problema.
El SIGSEGV ocurre justo después de una llamada mmap2, así que pensé que podría ser una falta de espacio de intercambio de memoria en general, pero hay mucho de ambos disponibles. Justo antes de la llamada mmap también hay un tiempo de espera para una llamada select, por lo que quizás tenga algo que ver con eso.
Honestamente, estoy un poco fuera de mi alcance aquí. Intenté preguntarle a la comunidad Ubuntu y a la comunidad TSM, pero no recibí noticias de ninguna de las dos. Una opción podría ser que después de la mmap2
llamada la aplicación accediera a una dirección que previamente no estaba asignada por una munmap
llamada. Esto también arrojaría un SIGSEGV
. Pero necesitarás más que strace
ver esto, algún depurador de memoria podría ayudarte en tiempo de ejecución como valgrind

La dirección de la dirección debe ser un múltiplo del tamaño de la página. Todas las páginas que contienen una parte del rango indicado no están asignadas y las referencias posteriores a estas páginas generarán SIGSEGV. No es un error si el rango indicado no contiene ninguna página asignada.
