Reparación de base de datos maestra MS SQL corrupta: sin acceso de cliente SQL

Disculpas por cualquier duplicación, pero siento que estoy cayendo ante el primer obstáculo.

Tengo un servidor MS SQL 2005 que se niega a iniciarse y para el cual no tengo una contraseña (incluida la contraseña 'sa'), aparentemente porque la base de datos maestra está corrupta (ver registro). Encontré muchas instrucciones buscando en Google el mensaje de error (ver más abajo), comoesteyeste, pero todos parecen implicar la posibilidad de ejecutar comandos SQL en primer lugar.

Ejecutar sqlcmdy escribir SELECT * FROM sys.configurationsp; (return)(según el enlace 1) no genera resultados. La ejecución sqlcmd -S DVTEL(donde DVTEL es uno de los servicios de SQL Server que se encuentran en Configuration Manager) falla con un tiempo de espera de conexión.

Mensaje de error:
