Creé un servidor de instalación PXE que instala Ubuntu 15.04 usando un script Kickstart y funciona bien en máquinas virtuales VMWare/Virtual Box. Instalación de 15 minutos como máximo.
Probé esto en Dell R710 ayer y el proceso de arranque TFTP inicial no es un problema y el instalador se ejecuta y (solo sin %posts) muestra un mensaje de instalación exitosa y se reinicia. Luego, el servidor BIOS POST se atascó en una pantalla negra (VGA y DRAC). Parece estar obteniendo una dirección IP (DHCP) pero no SSH (script Kickstart).
'Grabar' el mismo ISO que estoy instalando web en una memoria USB se instala y arranca bien.

Si funciona en diferentes clientes pero falla con una pantalla negra en su Dell R710, debería pensar en un problema con el controlador de video.
