Tengo una instalación nueva de la última versión de centos 7.

Quería instalar algo y wget no estaba instalado, así que cuando intenté instalar wget vi que yum daba un error.
Quizás vi todos los temas sobre este problema en Internet, pero no pude encontrar la solución.

One of the configured repositories failed (CentOS-7 - Base),
and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this:
1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem.
2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working
upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer
distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the
packages for the previous distribution release still work).
3. Run the command with the repository temporarily disabled
yum --disablerepo=base ...
4. Disable the repository permanently, so yum won't use it by default. Yum
will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it
again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage:
yum-config-manager --disable base
or
subscription-manager repos --disable=base
5. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable.
Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands,
so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much
slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice
compromise:
yum-config-manager --save --setopt=base.skip_if_unavailable=true

No estoy seguro de dónde puede estar el problema: es una instalación nueva en mi servidor dedicado vmware/OVH.
Tengo otro servidor instalado y funcionando bien pero esta vez tengo este problema.
¿Alguien puede ayudarme? También intenté habilitar todas las líneas deshabilitadas en etc/yum.repo.d

Esto indica que (a) no tiene un servidor DNS configurado correctamente o (b) la configuración de su red no es correcta y no puede conectarse a un servidor DNS para verificar el nombre de host mirrorlist.centos.org.
Intenta usar ping 8.8.8.8. Si esto falla, inténtelo ping <local-gateway-ip>. Si eso también falla, la configuración de tu red local es incorrecta y tendrás que verificar la configuración.
Si puede hacer ping 8.8.8.8, intente usar hosto para verificar la configuración de DNS nslookupcomo o . Si esto falla, debe verificar su configuración de DNS. Verifique qué está configurado.dighost google.comdig google.com/etc/resolv.conf
ACTUALIZAR
Como /etc/resolv.confestá en blanco, necesita configurar un solucionador de DNS. Sugeriría ingresar lo siguiente en el archivo usando nanoo vi(o lo que sea que le resulte más cómodo usar):
nameserver 9.9.9.9
Guarde este archivo y vuelva a intentarlo yum update.
También puede probar con otros hosts DNS si lo prefiere, como 8.8.8.8o 8.8.4.4cualquiera de los hosts OpenDNS.

Es posible que tengas un problema de conectividad en algún lugar. Aquí tienes un pequeño proceso para comprobar dónde tienes el problema.
Conectividad básica
Verifique si el servidor tiene Internet (dirección IP y ruta correcta; si no funciona, verifique ip addresssi tiene una dirección IP).
ping 8.8.8.8
solucionador
Compruebe cuáles son los solucionadores y haga ping a ellos.
cat /etc/resolv.conf
Debe tener una línea nameservery una dirección IP. Verifique que la IP esté respondiendo.
ping xx.xx.xx.xx
Luego haz una búsqueda
nslookup mirrorlist.centos.org
Debería devolver una lista de direcciones IP. De lo contrario, es posible que su servidor DNS no funcione correctamente, puede probar con otro servidor con
nslookup
> server 8.8.8.8
> mirrorlist.centos.org
Y verifique que esta vez esté funcionando como se esperaba.

Tuve este problema en las transmisiones de centos y tuve que hacer clic en redes en la barra superior y conectarme a la red por cable.

Compruebe si tiene conexión de red o no en esa VM. Si tiene una conexión de red con NAT y luego un puente SÓLO HOST, habilite su dispositivo de red.
Tuve el mismo problema como este en mi VM.
