
Tengo el siguiente disco WD (3 TB) que me dio un problema (no pude acceder a ningún archivo: incluso un ls
comando provocó una espera interminable).
Aquí algunos detalles del disco:

Después de este problema realizo algunas pruebas para descubrir qué tipo de problema lo está afectando. Como primer paso, realicé una breve prueba sudo smartctl -t short /dev/sda
que me mostró el siguiente error:

Luego intenté obtener algunos atributos como se describe en esta otra publicación.Entendiendo smartctl -a salidausando sudo smartctl -a /dev/sda

Luego intenté inspeccionar el LBA_of_first_error
(8467144) y, siguiendo una parte deesta guía, lo ejecuto sudo sg_verify --lba=8467144 /dev/sda
obteniendo el siguiente resultado que me confirma que hay un fallo de hardware:

Como paso final intenté reasignar el bloque sin éxito sudo sg_reassign --address=8467144 /dev/sda

Entonces, para resumir, ¿me perdí algún paso en esta investigación del disco? ¿Mi disco está muerto o todavía se puede utilizar? No puedo entender si hay algún error grave en la lista de atributos SMART. ¿Pueden ayudarme a entender si la unidad tiene más errores?
