Intenté instalar el SDK de Ubuntu en mi máquina virtual Ubuntu 13.10 (VMwarePlayer) escribiendo sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-sdk-team/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-sdken la Terminal. el proceso se atasca en un punto y no puede avanzar más, por lo que finaliza. La ventana final de la terminal dice lo siguiente:

Primero instale aptitudeel paquete ejecutando,
sudo apt-get install aptitude
Luego instálelo ubuntu-sdka través de aptitude,
sudo aptitude install ubuntu-sdk
