Segundo monitor vía VGA detectado pero no funciona (radeon)

Segundo monitor vía VGA detectado pero no funciona (radeon)

Después de la actualización a Ubuntu 16.04, mi segundo monitor conectado vía VGA a mi computadora portátil Asus dejó de funcionar. Soy consciente de la eliminación del fglrxcontrolador, pero sólo me di cuenta después de la actualización.

El monitor se detecta correctamente a través de la aplicación "Pantallas", pero no muestra ningún resultado. Probé con otro monitor, pero ese tampoco funcionó.

La computadora portátil es una Asus R510ZE-DM105H.

La tarjeta gráfica se identifica como Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Kaveri [Radeon R7 Graphics] [1002:130c] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]).

¿Puedo utilizar otro controlador para esta tarjeta gráfica que admita varios monitores? Parece que hay dos conductores alrededor radeony amdgpu? ¿O debería informar un error?
